What has surprised Steve about owning a business?

One of the biggest surprises has been how often you have to change gears. Owning a business means moving between strategy, client work, communication, operations, content, planning, problem-solving, and learning new tools or systems.

The diversity of the work has been exciting, but it also comes with a learning curve.

Even with years of marketing experience, owning a business has required Steve to learn so much more: how to lead the agency, serve clients well, build processes, make decisions, and keep growing.
